Scott - your question here is redundant. This page is full of super Savage enthusiasts ( moi aussi) who can hardly be expected to be objective.
The best advice here threads through the responses - get what you like and enjoy your ride of choice.
As one of the Graybeards here - 56 away from riding for 17 years and then coming back big time- the Savage is the best bike I have ever experienced and had the pleasure of owning.
And, of course that is nothing to say of the pleasure this board provides on yet another snowy late April day - sigh -
Regardless of choice - keep the rubber side down
